 Timothy T. Clifford President and Chief Executive Officer
As President, CEO, and co-founder of Workscape, Inc., Tim Clifford has set the strategic vision and direction for the award-winning Company since its inception in 1998. Under his leadership, Workscape has risen to a prominent position in its industry, differentiated by its commitment to exemplary client service and continuing innovation as a technology-based provider of outsourced workforce management and benefits administration solutions. Today, more than 45 of the Fortune 500 rely on Workscape's solutions to deliver HR services to their workforces.
Clifford's background includes extensive experience in accelerating growth for early- and growth-stage companies. Before founding Workscape, he was the President and COO of HealthPlan Services, Inc.'s small group business unit, the most profitable division of this NYSE company. Before joining HPS, he was with Consolidated Group from 1985 to 1997. As President and CEO from 1991 to 1997, he advanced the growth of this national outsourcing services leader into the insurance and managed care industries through more than ten acquisitions. Clifford's earlier career experience includes four years with Prudential Insurance Company, where he rose to regional group manager.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Art History from Northeastern University.
Donald R. Fitch, Jr. Executive Vice President, Finance & Administration
Donald R. Fitch, Jr. joined Workscape in 1999 as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration. With strong experience that spans a 20-plus year career, Fitch is responsible for all aspects of Workscape’s financial, accounting and operational support functions.
Prior to joining Workscape, Fitch served as Sr. Vice President and Treasurer with HealthPlan Services, Inc., a publicly traded managed healthcare services company. Before that, he was Executive Vice President and CFO with Consolidated Group for more than 10 years, where he was responsible for IT, acquisition financing, and investor relations.
Fitch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics and political science, both from the University of Vermont. He conducted his MBA studies at Babson College.

William (Bill) Bergen CIO and Chief of Operations Bill Bergen joined Workscape in 2000 as the Company's IT and Operations Director and in 2004, was promoted to CIO and Vice President, Technology. An industry veteran, he holds global responsibilities for the research and development group and operations for Workscape’s five geographically dispersed data centers in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific as well as the Company’s IT department.
Bergen's leadership has been instrumental in Workscape's recognition as an award-winning provider of HR solutions dedicated to product innovation. He built Workscape's world-class Shared Services organization, which is responsible for all customer hosting operations and client support activities. Under Bergen's direction, Workscape’s Shared Services organization has proven to sustain Six Sigma availability and enable high-performing organizations to focus on core strategic initiatives.
Before joining Workscape, Bergen was a Practice Leader, Collaborative Technologies for Waterfield/Whittman-Hart and the Director, Information Systems, for Energy USA, a deregulated startup subsidiary of Bay State Gas.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and management information systems from Stonehill College and has conducted his MBA studies at Clark University.

Anthony (Tony) Marzulli Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Anthony “Tony” Marzulli joined Workscape in early 2008 as Chief Product and Marketing Officer. In this role, Marzulli is responsible for Workscape’s overall market positioning, including driving product marketing, product management, marketing communications, corporate communications and public relations in support of the company’s business objectives.
Prior to joining Workscape, Marzulli was the senior vice president of Products and Marketing for Workbrain, Inc., which was acquired by Infor in June 2007. Additionally, his earlier experience as the senior vice president of Global Marketing for Citrix Software, the vice president of Software Marketing for EMC Corporation and the senior vice president of Marketing for Lawson Software positions him to drive Workscape’s strategic expansion into new markets. Marzulli began his career at Hewlett-Packard as a systems engineer in 1984.
He holds an MBA from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University in Pa.

Ed Hurley-Wales Senior Vice President, Human Resources Ed Hurley-Wales joined Workscape in 2001 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. In addition to providing strategic and tactical direction to Workscape's HR department, Hurley-Wales is responsible for assuring that the company exemplifies world-class human capital management strategies that assist in maintaining its enviable leadership position through strong operational management and a forward-thinking approach to growth and expansion, both organically and through strategic mergers and acquisition activity.
Prior to joining Workscape, Hurley-Wales was Vice President, Human Resources of Applix, Inc., a customer relationship management analytics software company. Before that, Hurley-Wales served as Senior Manager of Human Resources for Duracell, and also held several senior HR leadership positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, including regional sales operations, and led an emerging international networking enterprise group.
He holds a Masters of Science degree in education from Cambridge College.
Hurley-Wales serves as a director on the Boards of the New England HR Association (NEHRA), Machine Science and WARM2Kids. He is a former Board member of Human Resources Leadership Forum of New England (HRLF).

Kristie Hathaway General Counsel
Kristie Hathaway has been a member of the Workscape legal team since 2004. As General Counsel, she is the legal advisor to executive management and responsible for all legal matters relating to Workscape’s business, including support of sales and strategic partnerships, employment matters, intellectual property matters and corporate compliance programs.
Before joining Workscape, Hathaway was a senior associate with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, in Boston. During her eight-year tenure with the firm, Hathaway represented venture capitalists, private and public companies and investment bankers as legal counsel in a variety of transactions.
Hathaway earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LeMoyne College, an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a juris doctor from Boston College Law School.
