Description

 

The Account Specialist is responsible for the day to day activities required to support service delivery to Benefits Clients and participating in the implementation of new projects.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports 2-3 clients
  • Ensures automated processes execute on expected schedule and that output has been verified and delivered to the recipient in a timely manner
  • Proactively works with client and/or project teams to create and monitor processing schedules
  • Communicates with Print Production and Production Control Units related to processing schedule questions and/or issues
  • Initiates / Maintains non-automated processes as needed including validation/review of process results
  • Tracks and/or resolve errors that may result from processes and files
  • Works with client representative(s) to resolve issues reported with the process of any input or output files and escalate to the Account Manager as appropriate
  • Works to meet team goals and deadlines
  • Performs preliminary analysis and attempts identification of root cause of issues reported by client and/or its vendors
  • Receives and facilitates resolution of issues identified through data load processes by the client and/or its vendor(s)
  • Receives and facilitates resolution of issues reported by client related to any aspect of the employees benefits 
  • Differentiates between customer identified defects and system enhancements and escalates appropriately      
  • Serves as first level of triage for escalations received by Call Center. Maintains customer report card and detailed call center reporting
  • Assists in testing new/revised client applications Proactively reaches out to clients/vendors to communicate issues identified by Workscape.
     

 

Qualifications

  •  BA/BS degree
  • One to three years experience in a HR, HR Technology, Benefits or Insurance environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid communication skills - both written and oral 
  • Works well in a team environment, with demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of SQL 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Project or other enterprise project management software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional interaction with client management
